Use one currency and the same agreed delivery point for both offers. If one price is FOB and another is CIF, first align the included costs with your suppliers; changing a label does not make them comparable. Add only charges not already included in each quoted price.

What to confirm before comparing export prices
Route and included costs
Compare the named loading and discharge points, freight mode and shipment window. Confirm what each offer includes and avoid adding an included charge twice.
Documents and validity
Review the lot documents, quotation expiry, payment terms and inspection arrangements. A calculator cannot verify an exporter or confirm that a shipment meets destination requirements.
Calculation: convert the quoted unit price to the common net shipment weight, then add the additional shipment costs you entered. Divide that total by net tonnes or net kilograms to compare unit costs.
