Gujarat groundnut, counted and tested before it ships.

Types & Counts

Bold, Java, or in shell — priced by count.

Peanut is bought on count per ounce, not on size in millimetres. Tell us the count and the end use and we grade to it.

Bold (Runner)
Bold — counts 38/42 to 50/60

Larger, rounder kernel. The confectionery and roasting grade, and the type European and Gulf buyers usually name first.

Java (Spanish)
Java — counts 50/60 to 70/80

Smaller and more uniform. Moves into snack and food-manufacturing lines, strong demand across Southeast Asia.

In shell
Groundnut in Shell

Unshelled lots under HS 1202 41, for buyers who roast or shell at destination. Counts and screen size to order.

Why Our Address Matters

We are based inside the belt that grows the crop.

Most peanut offers you receive from India are written by a trader one or two states away from the field. Ours is not.

55%
Of India’s Groundnut Is Gujarati

Gujarat produced over 66 lakh tonnes in 2025 — more than half the national crop, and close to three times the next state. We are domiciled in it.

1 leg
Field To Port, One State

Buying in-state means no interstate movement before the container, no second trader’s margin stacked on the mandi price, and a shorter chain to audit when a lot is questioned.

Oct–Nov
Counter-Season To Onion

The kharif groundnut harvest lands as the onion year turns. Two crops, two seasons, one procurement network — which is why we can hold a quote when a single-crop shipper cannot.

Packing Options

Packed dry, marked clearly, sealed on a clean lot.

New jute or PP woven bags in the weight your buyer receives in, and vacuum packing where the kernel has to hold condition on a long leg.

Aflatoxin is where peanut contracts fail

Not price — aflatoxin. Every lot ships with a batch certificate of analysis from an accredited laboratory covering aflatoxin, moisture, admixture, count and damage. We contract to your national limit, not to a generic one. For the European Union that means 2.0 µg/kg aflatoxin B1 and 4.0 µg/kg total for groundnut sold for direct consumption, and 8.0 and 15.0 µg/kg for lots that will be sorted or treated before use, under Regulation (EU) 2023/915. Tell us the destination and we quote to that number.

Marking & documentation

Bags marked to your requirement — type, count, crop year, net weight, origin. The certificate of analysis is lot-specific and travels with the shipment, so your quality team and customs are reading the same batch, not a generic company datasheet.

Frequently Asked

Common questions from groundnut buyers.

Straight answers on types, counts, aflatoxin and export terms.

Who is a reliable groundnut exporter from India?

AL NOOR EXIM is an APEDA-registered groundnut exporter based in Himmatnagar, Gujarat, India, shipping Bold and Java peanut on FOB and CIF terms to Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Sri Lanka.

Why does buying from Gujarat matter for peanut?

Gujarat grows more than half of India’s groundnut crop — over 66 lakh tonnes in 2025, well ahead of Rajasthan in second place. Buying inside the producing state means one procurement leg instead of two, no interstate movement before the port, and mandi-level pricing rather than a second trader’s margin.

What peanut types and counts does AL NOOR EXIM export?

Bold (Runner) in counts 38/42 through 50/60, Java (Spanish) in counts 50/60 through 70/80, and groundnut in shell. Peanut is graded on count per ounce rather than on millimetre size.

What are the quality parameters?

Moisture 8 percent maximum, admixture 1 percent maximum, foreign matter 1 percent maximum, oil content 42 to 48 percent, and aflatoxin tested per batch against the destination market limit.

What aflatoxin limit do you ship to?

We contract to the buyer’s national limit. For the European Union, Regulation (EU) 2023/915 sets 2.0 micrograms per kilogram aflatoxin B1 and 4.0 total for groundnut sold for direct consumption, and 8.0 and 15.0 for lots that will be sorted or physically treated before use. Every lot ships with a batch certificate of analysis from an accredited laboratory.

How is export peanut packed and how much fits a container?

New jute or PP woven bags of 10, 15, 25 or 50 kg, or vacuum packed at 25 kg for kernels. A 20ft FCL loads approximately 19 metric tonnes, around 380 bags at 50 kg.

What is the HS code for peanut export from India?

Groundnut in shell is classified under HS 1202 41 and shelled groundnut kernels under HS 1202 42.

When is Indian groundnut in season?

The kharif crop is sown from June and harvested through October and November, and accounts for roughly three quarters of the crop. A rabi crop harvests in March. Cold and controlled storage extends availability between the two.
